Hopelessness: God never stops fighting for you

In your season of hopelessness, know that God is always working for you. That should bring us peace because even when we only see trouble, God is still working.

First Pentecostal Church of Titusville

As Pastor Coffey said, "Yes, the enemy is trying to attack but the only reason he is attacking is because God has a plan for your life." Have hope knowing that your purpose with God is greater than you know. God's plan for your life is far greater than you can see. We serve a God whose power and plan is greater than any attack from the enemy. Every outcome. We just have to finish this race!

1 Corinthians 3:16 reminds us of God's promise for His presence IN US! He is always with you, but sitting in a state of victim mindset or isolation won't help us feel He's there. If you do not feel God's presence in you, practice His presence.

Practicing God's presence requires self-discipline and includes prayer, reading the word and worship. Prayer throughout the day, not just for a need. Reading the word and meditating on the meaning and application in our lives. Worshiping in church through song, giving and serving.

We are responsible for our own salvation and spiritual well being and we need to have the self discipline to worship our creator. Although we may not always feel up to it, getting to church to surround ourselves with a community of God-fearing saints has more of an impact on our lives than we realize.

Always remember how deep God's love is for you. He doesn't want to see His children suffer and be lost. Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."(NLT)
