When you’re feeling hopeless, know that God has a promise just for YOU. It is not his will that we remain in a state of hopelessness. We know God's word promises us hope, but how do we access that hope? Were we created to fight on our own? To go through life on our own? Where do we find this hope from the Bible to get us through?
The truth is, at times life will be easier and at times much harder than it is right now. Life is an ever-changing roller coaster full of ups and downs. But we are equipped with the tools and help to make it through, we just have to hang in until the end.
With every trouble we face, we can find help through prayer and the word of God. Sometimes it feels when we are hopeless and weak, life really starts to hit and ironically, troubles come. But looking at some great Biblical figures, we see that although God is always there, and weakness can come from isolation.
In 1 Kings 19, Elijah hid in the wilderness alone after victory against Baal. At that time of isolation, a great storm came against him but God reassured him that He is with him. Even looking in the well known story of creation in Genesis. The enemy did not come to tempt Eve until she went off on her own. The enemy can see that weakness and is always looking to attack at our weakest point.
The enemy's attacks are nothing to fear! God has a purpose and plan for you that is far greater than you can see or imagine. Surround yourself with a community of believers to give you strength in times of hopelessness.
