As the temperature, the atmosphere inside our Wesley Woods Campground became a warm and inviting retreat. Our Memorial Day church picnic brought together families and friends, proving that even in chilly weather, our spirits could soar. The cozy dining hall buzzed with laughter and joy, perfectly highlighting the essence of our vibrant church community.

The day began with a delightful potluck feast where over 30 church members contributed their favorite homemade dishes. From creamy macaroni and cheese to decadent chocolate brownies, the food selection was diverse and delicious. The dining hall transformed into a heartwarming space, where the scent of freshly baked goods blended with the sound of friendly chatter. It was an inviting contrast to the frosty winds outside.

Competitive spirits shone brightly during sack races and tug-of-war, with children and adults alike joining in the laughter and fun. Meanwhile, many took leisurely strolls along the scenic trails, appreciating the tranquil beauty of the campground, even if their noses turned slightly red from the cold.
