Angels Aware - Passing Down the Faith

Jesus showed a lot of attention and love to children and even said we should be like them to enter heaven. They are the next generation of spiritual leaders. But what can we learn from children? 

At FPC the weekend of December 12-14 (if you’d like to go back and watch the live stream on Facebook 😉) we learned so much from children in their Angels Aware musical. Not only should we take lessons from the innocence and humility from children but also show attention when they teach Bible lessons.

Through storytelling and drama, they learned and shared with us Bible lessons and stories. They opened up by introducing different angels and their rank in heaven as well as some prophets of biblical times. These characters took us back in time to share from the Bible with us. These lessons included the trouble in the world at that time and why we needed Jesus. They shared with us through song the 10 commandments that God gave to Moses on the mountain. They also reminded us of the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ. 

Sis. Coffey dedicated her time to help guide the children and help them practice the songs and scripts. It's important to instill the word of God and lessons and stories from the Bible so they can effectively teach future generations.
